As Corporate Director of Human Resources, you will play a central role in implementing an integrated HR vision, aligned with the company’s strategic ambitions. As head of the HR function, you will be responsible for guiding key priorities in terms of leadership, talent attraction, performance management, engagement and organizational transformation.
Your mission: to help HR practices evolve to actively support agility, innovation and operational excellence, in a context of growth and modernization.
Your future role
- Develop a global human resources management strategy in line with the company’s vision.
- Draw up and implement an HR action plan to achieve the company’s short, medium and long-term objectives.
- Manage and supervise an HR team with a mentoring approach.
- Supervision and coaching (negotiation and application of the collective agreement, labor movements, administrative management of the insurance program, management of the health and safety prevention program and committee, CSST files, as well as staffing and training).
- Establishment and rigorous maintenance of human resources management policies and practices applicable to all Group divisions, as well as to employees outside Canada, including the management of benefits programs.
- Develop tools to measure workforce-related key performance indicators (absenteeism, turnover, health and safety, etc.).
- Ensure compliance of personnel management practices and decisions with applicable laws and policies, and act as an advisor to managers and management in their interpretation.
- Negotiating collective agreements and maintaining a good working relationship with existing unions.
- Participate in the internal management committee and in the company’s strategic planning process
- Use your positive influence, experience and leadership to bring your projects to fruition.
- Lead the implementation or revision of salary policies, benefit plans or other incentive programs.
- Daily application of the various processes inherent in human resources management.
Required Skills
- University degree in human resources management or industrial relations, CHRP designation
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations and procedures relating to labor standards and occupational health and safety.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to evolve in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to meet project deadlines and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French/English.
- International experience and willingness to travel.
- In-depth knowledge of the MS Office suite.
