Your future role

We are looking for a Mechanical Draftsperson to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing and updating 2D/3D drawings, while also assuming certain administrative and organizational tasks contributing to the smooth running of the department. This role is essential to ensure project quality and support production.

Main responsibilities

  • Produce and update 2D and 3D drawings with CAD software.
  • Review plans and support production for recurring orders.
  • Prepare, organize and update technical documentation.
  • Check and validate drawings to ensure accuracy and conformity.
  • Collaborate with the various departments to monitor activities.
  • Participate in various administrative and related tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • DEP in industrial design or related field
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in mechanical design or drafting in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Fluency in French (functional English an asset).
  • Good knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
