Your future role
As Account Manager – LATAM, you will play a critical role in accelerating Metal7’s growth in Latin America by promoting innovative, high-performance solutions across multiple sectors. Your role will be both strategic and hands-on, requiring a strong mix of technical understanding, customer focus, and commercial acumen.
In this role, you will:

Drive business growth in the LATAM region by identifying and developing key market segments (iron ore, gold, nickel, lithium, and others) with high potential for Metal7’s technologies.

Promote a portfolio of value-added solutions, including roller screens, filters, and components that optimize natural resource transformation processes.

Balance account farming and hunting, nurturing long-standing client relationships while prospecting and converting new business opportunities—particularly in markets outside of the traditional iron ore chain.

Map and segment the market, analyzing customer profiles and industry trends to develop a targeted conversion strategy based on each segment’s needs and potential.

Develop and execute sales plans tailored to the territory, including clear objectives, timelines, and action plans designed to achieve both annual and multi-year sales targets.

Build strong value propositions by working closely with internal teams (engineering, production, and marketing) to align customer needs with customized technical solutions.

Prepare and manage a territory-specific sales budget, proposing realistic yet ambitious sales goals in terms of volume, value, and pricing, in alignment with company policies.

Master internal tools and processes, using platforms like HubSpot CRM, SAP ERP, and SharePoint to track customer data, manage sales activities, and report progress efficiently.

Lead customer follow-ups and maintain detailed records of interactions, opportunities, and ongoing projects to ensure seamless communication and long-term account development.

Collaborate cross-functionally by sharing market insights and participating in coordination meetings that help refine tactics and align priorities across departments.

Track and report performance regularly, providing updates on KPIs, challenges, and opportunities, and continuously refining your approach using internal planning frameworks such as PDCA.

Contribute to internal sales planning, actively participating in territory strategy development, quarterly reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with relevant experience

5 years of B2B sales experience in manufactured products
- Experience in high-value technical B2B sales

Key account management skills

Proficient with digital tools (Office 365, Hubspot, SAP)

Bilingual in French and English

Field experience is a plus
- Strong business acumen and autonomy
