This summer internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise while contributing to real innovation projects.

Your future role

As a Mineral Technology Intern, you will be actively involved in laboratory trials to evaluate the efficiency of processes such as roller screening of fired pellets. More specifically, you will :

  • Prepare and package samples (labeling, traceability, preparation).

  • Perform sieving tests using laboratory sieves according to established procedures.

  • Perform complete particle size analyses (Taylor mesh sieve), including weighing and compiling results.

  • Calculate and document sieving efficiencies (mass balances, performance indicators).

  • Analyze results, identify trends or deviations, and suggest areas for improvement.

  • Conduct literature searches as needed to support interpretation of results.

  • Contribute to other laboratory tests (filtration tests, metallographic analyses, etc.).

  • Participate in maintaining good laboratory practices in compliance with OHS and quality standards.

The internship will take place in an environment offering a high degree of autonomy, with clear objectives and regular follow-up with your supervisor.

Required Skills

Training and knowledge

  • DEC in Mineral Technology (in progress or completed)

  • Good command of the Office suite

  • French required / functional English (an asset)

Skills and qualities

  • Good critical sense and rigor in data analysis

  • Curiosity, motivation and desire to learn

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Autonomy and organizational skills

  • Comfortable with manual work (sampling, sample preparation, particle size analysis)
