Reporting to the Mechanical and Welding Supervisor, the Production Mechanic will participate in the assembly of products manufactured in our facilities while adopting safe behavior. We develop and manufacture high-performance process equipment to take the mining industry to new levels of productivity, quality and greener operation. Metal7's product range includes roller screening equipment, anti-wear coated screen rollers, vacuum filtration equipment, heavy oil burners, ore and pellet conveying equipment, and several components for hardening furnaces.DO THESE WORDS PICK UP YOUR INTEREST?

Your future role
- Assembly of parts and sub-assemblies
Read and interpret drawings and work instructions, prepare components and assemble mechanical parts according to specifications, using appropriate tools. - Equipment assembly
Install, fit and adjust components on structures or machines to assemble functional subassemblies or finished products. - Work area maintenance and cleaning
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area, by storing tools and materials, and participating in light equipment maintenance while reporting any anomalies. - Documentation and activity reports
Document assembly and quality control steps, and communicate any anomalies or technical difficulties to the supervisor or workshop manager. - Follows activity standards
Rigorously applies safety instructions by wearing the required PPE, handling tools safely and following shop procedures.
Required Skills
- DEP in a mechanical field
- Proper use of hand and power tools
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments
- Attention to detail and rigorous quality control
- Ability to detect and correct anomalies or defects
- Strict compliance with OHS standards and wearing of PPE
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
